Fluorite follows as a violet Enhancer, and it is the focusing stone, long used to grow organized thought out of scattered thinking. It does not add hours. It makes the hours you have hold together.
Sodalite is an indigo Enhancer and the practitioner's study crystal, carried to grow mental clarity for learning and for information retention. Its concern is the difference between reading something and keeping it.
Hematite is a silver Seeker, grounding and anchoring, and its work here is the least glamorous and the most necessary. It is the stone of staying in the chair.
Tiger's eye closes the working as a gold Seeker of confident, grounded energy, carried for steady nerve under pressure. It is there for the day the studying is tested, when the material is known and the only remaining question is whether you can reach it while being watched.

THE DAILY PRACTICE
Perform this at the beginning of each study session rather than at a fixed hour, because this working attaches itself to the work and not to the clock. Begin on a Saturday if you can, the day of discipline and of long effort.
Set your workspace before you set the kettle. Clear the desk, open the book to the place you will start, and put the phone in another room. The working begins with that, not with the tea.
Boil fresh water and pour it over the tea, letting it steep for a few minutes. During this time, write down one sentence naming what you intend to understand by the end of this session. Not how long you will sit, and not how many pages you will turn, but the one thing you want to be able to explain afterward. Studying goes wrong more often from having no destination than from having no discipline.
Hold the cup in both hands and let its warmth reach your palms. As you take the first sip, make the only promise this working asks of you: you will not leave the desk while there is tea in the cup. It is a small promise, and it is small deliberately, because the difficulty was never the hour you eventually manage. It was the first ten minutes.
