Procyon Star Fire Ritual

During the New Moon of June—five days before the summer solstice, when daylight reaches its maximum and the threshold of high summer opens—when lunar light withdraws completely and stellar power reaches its peak, Procyon shines in the western sky as the herald star. Its name means “before the dog” in Greek: it rises ahead of Sirius, announcing the approach of the Dog Days before the great star itself arrives. Known in Arabic as Al Shira al-Shamiyah, the Syrian Sign; to the Babylonians as Nangar, the Carpenter of the Heavens, the one who organizes and brings order out of confusion; and in the Latin tradition as Antecanis, Before the Dog—Procyon is one of the 15 Behenian fixed stars, carrying the combined nature of Mercury and Mars: the swift intelligence that perceives truth clearly, and the directed force to act on what it sees. Portending fame and clarity in the ancient tradition, Procyon arrives at the year’s brightest threshold with its piercing, herald light. This New Moon marks the most powerful window of the year for Procyon alignment work.

1. Send us a clear photo of your candle (any color, any kind). You might want to use a larger candle so you can use it more during the year. You can send photos to us at support@crystalconjuremagic.com or attach to your order.
2. Light your candle on the night of the New Moon (June 15, 2026) preferably near a window. Light it anytime between 6 PM and 10 PM Eastern time and let it burn for 30 minutes to capture the energy we send. (Set an alarm or two and be sure you get your Procyon Star Fire Candle.)
